the Queen Mother in the belly of her Kingdom upon the Thames.
(side note: this may be my favorite photograph I’ve had the chance to take of my Mother to date. in her eyes you can see the joy she gets from life in a place she and i feel most at home. it helps that she kept her eyes open long enough, too.)
